  Writer-placement services

Abelard Consulting's recruitment division specialises in the placing of technical writers (also known as technical authors or technical communicators). Our service is unique in a number of ways:

• First, our consultants are themselves experienced technical writers and so are especially adept at accurately profiling job roles.
• Second, through our own longstanding documentation consultancy work we have built up a vast network of technical writers.
• Third, our peer-to-peer assessment methodology — assessment of applicants by practising technical writers — gives us the edge in filtering applicants, that is, in seeing quickly who really does fit a particular role.
